Switzerland offers gorgeous attractions and streets. Get into your dream car and enjoy an unforgettable adventure!

The Grand Tour of Switzerland was launched by Switzerland Tourism and represents a round trip through the whole country. 45 top-attractions represent Switzerland in all of its different facets. Among them are 12 UNESCO World Natural Heritage Sites like the glacial area Jungfrau-Aletsch, which is the first alpine UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site ever, or the Lavaux Vineyard Terraces. Two biospheres and 22 lakes complete the exciting tour. These sights are connected by the most beautiful roads of the country – highways are rarely used.

Facts & Figures

The ideal travel season for the Grand Tour of Switzerland is between April and October. The core route extends to 1643 kilometers and you should plan at least seven days to drive the whole tour. Switzerland Tourism recommends travelling clockwise on the route. In this direction, the trip is easier to complete because of one-way streets, among other reasons.

Switzerland Tourism is the national tourism association of the country. Therefore, it is the first place to go for tourists from all over the world who want to gather information about the travel destination before and during their journey to Switzerland. Edel & Stark is a member of this association and therefore partner of Switzerland Tourism.
