Two biospheres and 22 lakes complete the exciting tour. These sights are connected by the most beautiful roads of the country – highways are rarely used.

The ideal travel season for the Grand Tour of Switzerland is between April and October. The core route extends to 1643 kilometers and you should plan at least seven days to drive the whole tour. Switzerland Tourism recommends travelling clockwise on the route. In this direction, the trip is easier to complete because of one-way streets, among other reasons.
