The history of Cake J’adore

Cake J’adore was founded by Tulay Guvenc Borradori, an architect with a passion for art, design and baking. Born in Paris and raised in Istanbul, Tulay has been living in Switzerland for the past 18 years. She started baking from an early age for family and friends. During a six-months stay in California, Tulay met with the art of sugarcraft and decided to explore her creativity through the medium of cake. She perfected her skills with years of practice and she still keeps learning everyday.

Staying up-to-date at Cake J’adore

Always on top of the latest trends in upscale cakes, Tulay takes inspiration mostly from haute-couture, fine art, architecture, and nature, but also from practically anything around her. She is very fond of colors and textures, and her exquisitely detailed handcrafted sugar flowers are highly in demand. Tulay loves listening to her clients, and sharing their excitements about their big day. She knows how important is to listen and thoroughly understand the expectations and needs of each client to create the cake of their dreams. She takes only a limited number of commissions, so that she can create each of her cakes as a unique work of art perfect for any high-end celebration.
