The Car Rental Association of Switzerland

Founded in 1947, the association unites about 40 members and therefore represents about 75% of the Swiss car rental market. Thus, not only regional providers but also international car hirers are involved. The Car Rental Association of Switzerland is the only car rental association in Europe. Once a year, the largest car renters like Avis, Sixt and Hertz meet up to discuss recent developments in the car rental industry.
All vehicle categories are covered. Passenger cars, utility vehicles, SUVs, classic cars as well as luxury cars. This is partially thanks to the membership of Edel & Stark. Since 2015, we are a member of the AVS and therefore profit from its services.
