[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]In everyday life, men are challenged all the time: be it at work, at home, or in their spare time. Most of the time, they do receive the appropriate appreciation for their dedication. One day in the year, the so-called “stronger sex” is celebrated especially: the International Men’s Day. It is celebrated on November 19 and emphasizes men’s health, equality and the promotion of male role models.

Of course it is also just a reason to celebrate the men themselves. For this special occasion, special excursions should be taken into consideration. You can’t just sit at home and drink a beer on the International Men’s Day, after all. Therefore, the (E magazine) presents appropriate excursion tips, no matter if you want to celebrate in Germany, Austria or Switzerland.

Germany

In the daily work routine, a lot of energy can accumulate that you somehow have to get rid of. One way to do this is the Stock Car race in Stendal, Sachsen-Anhalt in Germany. Fast laps on the race tracks (and maybe hitting your friends’ cars in the rear from time to time) is an ideal way to let off surplus energy in a manly fashion.

Thrill seekers can alternatively book a flight in a fighter jet, more precisely an L-39 Albatros. This exclusive adventure in a teaching plane is started at the military airport Spangdahlem in Rhineland-Palatinate. The experience includes rolls, loopings and more – everything men’s hearts desire! Only the handling of the jet should better be left to the experts…[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_gallery type=”flexslider_slide” interval=”0″ images=”1061,1062,1063″ img_size=”large” onclick=””][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Men with a more quite temper should consider a trip to the Autostadt in Wolfsburg. It’s a huge theme park of the Volkswagen family and showcases suspenseful exhibitions about automotive history, works of art, movies and much more. Many historical car models are presented here and delight sentimental people especially. An interesting insight into the automotive industry is guaranteed![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_gallery type=”flexslider_slide” interval=”0″ images=”1069,1068,1067″ img_size=”large” onclick=””][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Switzerland

In Switzerland, there are also a lot of exciting activities available. For example, there is the possibility to fly and steer a helicopter on your own in Bern-Belp. Briefing and instructions will prepare you before you enter a Bell 206B Jet Ranger or a Guimbal Cabri G2. These are both reliable, light aircrafts. Under supervision of a skilled guide, you will be able to steer it on your own and fly over the beautiful landscapes of the Swiss Alps.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_gallery type=”flexslider_slide” interval=”0″ images=”1070,1071,1059″ img_size=”large” onclick=””][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]Another airy business, though without a cage of iron around your body, is sky diving. The indoor facilities of Windwerk in Winterthur are an ideal opportunity to feel as free as a bird for once. A briefing is included in the price and provides you with the necessary security while hovering in the wind tunnel. Enjoy your freedom without any inhibitions!

A somewhat more relaxed excursion is the TOP GEAR tour by Edel & Stark. In a carefully organized package, sports car lovers will be provided with what dreams are made of: A luxury car can be selected from the large fleet of Edel & Stark. This car will be the companion on the guided tour from Davos to the world-famous hairpin turns of the Stelvio Pass. A stop for lunch in the award-winning restaurant Umami is also included in the package. Pure adrenaline and luxury await![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_gallery type=”flexslider_slide” interval=”0″ images=”1072,1782,1776″ img_size=”large” onclick=””][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Austria

Austrian men shouldn’t miss out of course. Therefore, we selected a special treat: a visit in the “Steak Boutique”, a restaurant committed to pleasure in form of meat. The top-class steak house in Graz doesn’t only provide classical American steaks of highest quality but also serves Austrian Dry Aged Beef as a highlight. That’s high quality beef, matured up to 60 days under special conditions which results in an incredible sensation of flavor. Ideal for a dinner on the International Men’s Day!
