On their website, the police force of the city promotes itself as a large, well-trained and especially modern unit. Newest technologies and methods<\/b> are exercised by the Dubai Police Force and the quality of their services are very high. Their police fleet meets these standards as well: besides common cars of the brands Chevrolet, Toyota, Mazda and Nissan, some of the most exclusive luxury cars of the world<\/b> belong to this fleet as well.[\/vc_column_text][vc_gallery type=”flexslider_slide” interval=”0″ images=”996,994,995″ img_size=”large” onclick=””][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Thus, the typical white-green finish can be found on a Lamborghini Aventador, a Ferrari FF, a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, a Bentley Continental GT Sport, a limited Aston Martin One-77, a Brabus G63 AMG, a Bugatti Veyron and even a W Motors Lykan Hypersport<\/b>. W Motors: super cars from Dubai<\/h3>\n

The manufacturer W Motors proves that Emirati don\u2019t only love fast cars, but that they can produce them themselves as well<\/b>. Founded in 2012 in Beirut, the young business was pulled to the fast-growing luxury oriented Dubai. In 2014, the first super car of the United Arab Emirates<\/b> entered the market: the Lykan Hypersport. Only 7 units of the 780 HP monster were produced. In 2,8 seconds, it accelerates from 0-100 km\/h and can reach a top-speed of close to 400 km\/h.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”1001″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]But with the Fenyr Supersport, that already can be driven on the streets as a prototype, W Motors puts an even more impressive big brother into the world. Named after the most aggressive and vicious wolf of mythology<\/b>, the Fenyr Supersport doesn’t only impress with a performance of 900 HP<\/b> but also with a very sharp-edged design that even outshines Lamborghini.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”1000″ img_size=”full” add_caption=”yes”][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

The mystery of the abandoned sports cars<\/h3>\n

The flip side of expensive cars can\u2019t be overlooked in Dubai, though. When driving through the city or especially at the airport, it is not unusual to see many sports cars that are covered in a thick layer of dust<\/b> and dirt. Some of these are already standing on the same spot for years without their owners caring about getting the cars back at all.<\/p>\n

But this has a serious reason. According to the shari\u2019ah which determines the jurisdiction in Dubai, no-payment of debts is a criminal offence. Bankruptcy laws don\u2019t exist in the United Arab Emirates<\/b>, therefore people who fail to meet their car repayments, don\u2019t pay off their credit cards or don\u2019t pay off other debts are under no protection at all. There is a very strict interpretation of the law in the Emirates, if a defaulter can\u2019t pay his debts, he faces imprisonment for several years<\/b>, expats will be prevented from leaving the country or searched through Interpol. And this is the reason why Dubai offers the sad impressions of dusty sports cars that would be perfectly fit to drive.[\/vc_column_text][vc_gallery type=”flexslider_slide” interval=”0″ images=”1004,998,999″ img_size=”full” onclick=””][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Emirates National Auto Museum<\/h3>\n

The United Arab Emirates are renowned for their car loving people<\/b>. This is not only evident on the streets of metropolises like Dubai or Abu Dhabi but also in the Emirates National Auto Museum. The owner is Sheikh Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, a member of the royal family in Abu Dhabi. The retired car enthusiast possesses a large collection of cars that is partially exhibited in the museum. For example, he owns seven Mercedes S Class cars painted in the colors of the rainbow. For this reason, he sometimes is called \u00abRainbow Sheik<\/b>\u00bb now. Additionally, the Museum is placed in a huge pyramid specifically built for the museum.
