Santa Claus in difficulties
Santa Claus is an unhurried guy. He is cozily sitting in his snow-covered cabin at the North Pole and surveys the progress of the Christmas present production. He holds a nice cup of hot chocolate. Everything seems to be going according to his plan. But as he then glances at his elf-made watch, the warm cup almost slips from his hands. It’s the 23rd of December already? Santa Claus has no clue how time passed so quickly. But there’s one thing he knows: He desperately needs a new plan!
Santa Claus worriedly closes his eyes and tries to get his head straight. The Christmas elves have been very diligent like every year, almost all presents are completed and ready for transport. What causes more trouble are the reindeer. Although Rudolph would be as fit as he always is, about half of the other animals, among them his most dependable companions, are suffering from a persistent cold. Santa Claus sighs. He won’t be able to deliver the Christmas presents in the usual way this year.
But the time is running out, therefore he turns to the internet in his desperation. How can he travel from the North Pole around the world in the middle of the Christmas holidays to still provide a Merry Christmas to everyone? He knows that there is only one possible way. He needs a flying means of transportation that is equally as flexible as his reindeer sleigh. Santa Claus is clicking on links and talking on the phone, but nobody can or wants to help at this time.
The saviours appear
He already wants to close his notebook when suddenly a last link attracts his attention: «Aviation Services – Edel & Stark». The professional website hiding behind it makes Santa Claus see a glimmer of hope. Hesitant at first, he dials the number on that page. Promptly, a friendly voice starts talking: «Edel & Stark, how can I help you?» Excitedly, Santa Claus explains his dilemma. «I have to get off the North Pole as quickly as possible, all Christmas presents have to be delivered by tomorrow!»
«After a moment of silence, the calm voice on the phone responds: «I understand. The Edel & Stark Team Aviation Services will immediately organize a helicopter that will bring you from the North Pole to the airport in Longyear, located on Svalbard. This is the northernmost commercial airport in the world. There, a private jet will be waiting for you. It will allow you to quickly and flexibly travel around the world to coordinate the delivery of the presents.»
«That sounds all well and good, but what will I do when I arrive at an airport? I have to stay mobile on the ground as well, just as I am used to because of my reindeer sleigh…» answers Santa Claus doubtfully. He didn’t have to wait long for an answer: «This will be no problem. If you want to keep travelling on land, the limousine service by Edel & Stark will organize a chauffeured vehicle that is worthy of Santa Claus. Just let us know at which location you need a car and we will take care of everything. Don’t worry!»
«Thank you very much. Please hurry!» After saying this, Santa Claus hangs up the phone. He breathes out and closes his eyes again, feeling very relieved. There is actually hope! He rapidly informs the Christmas elves about the new situation. Now, all preparations have to be made immediately so he can board the helicopter in good conscience.
Christmas is saved
Only a few hours later, the rotating rotor blades cut through the tense silence of the North Pole. Santa Clause jumps out of his cottage and welcomes the helicopter with open arms. «Let’s go, sir!», smiles the elegantly dressed employee of Edel & Stark as he steps out of the helicopter and holds the door open for Santa Claus. The latter looks back to his cozy house again with a big grin on his face. Then he boards the helicopter. «Another year where all presents will be found underneath the Christmas tree on time», Santa Claus happily thinks to himself. Then, the helicopter takes off, speedily transporting him to the private jet.
The Team Edel & Stark wishes you a lovely and peaceful Christmas season. Should you be obliged to get from A to B against your expectations, we will gladly serve you during the holidays as well:
