The capital Vienna was regarded the cultural and political center of Europe in the 19th century and to this date attracts a great deal of tourists from around the world. Besides numerous spectacular buildings from the era of Imperial Germany, Vienna is known as music capital and home to Beethoven, Mozart and co. In addition, the classic Wiener Schnitzel is a culinary delicacy that must be included in a trip to Vienna.
For nature lovers, a stay in St. Anton am Arlberg is worthwhile at every time of the year. As one of the most well-known ski recreation areas in the world, St. Anton features over 500km of ski slopes, traditional huts and more. In Summer, hiking trails and fishing spots invite you to stay.

Landscapes and Streets
Geographically speaking, Austria is characterized by mountains, forests and lakes like the Wolfgangsee or the Wörthersee. Therefore, the country is ideally suited for relaxing holidays and for forgetting the exhausting work life. Only 32% of the country's area lie below 500 meters above sea leve - the highest point of the country is the mountain Grossglockner with an altitude of 3'798 meters.
Austria does not lack exciting streets either. Our favorite is the Grossglockner High Alpine Road, leading along many mountains taller than 3000 meters on a route of 48km and making the drive in a sports car unforgettable. In the Salzburg area, a detour to the Rossfeld Panoramic Road is worth it as well. It is located on the German side of the border and offers a stunning view over the alpine landscapes of Berchtesgaden.
